Over the past four days, I’ve created four new sites. Two of those new sites are going to be niche sites. One is in the health niche and one is in the financial niche. Both of them are quite wide topics yet also have specific audiences and will probably have a focus on a more…
What We Can Learn From Gig Economy Companies Most gig economy companies and other tech giants work because of three principles. And don’t give me any arguments about it being about innovation, growth hacking or buzz-term guru nonsense. Here’s what they are: Decentralised Labour, Decentralised Taxes and Centralised Power. We can learn lessons from all…
I went away for the weekend, mostly to attend my friend’s wedding. At said wedding, naturally, people asked me, “So what do you do?” And my answers revealed something tragic. I couldn’t describe what I do. Now, “I’m a copywriter” or “I do internet business stuff” makes sense for our sphere of the world. And…
How To Increase Conversions By Justifying Scarcity Let’s talk about scarcity and making it stick. Over on Twitter yesterday, Nate Schmidt gave a screenshot of a guy who was “not falling for Cialdini’s scarcity bullshit.” Now, this is a common complaint by basically everyone on the internet. Let’s take a step back with niche sites for a minute. What are we trying to accomplish? The answer, for a lot of guys and the odd girl that builds niche websites, is emulation without knowing why. I remember back some years ago, Mike Cernovich – pre-political pundit era – talked about making money with…
Let’s talk about how you can front load small victories with freelance writing. These are things I’ve done and/or recommend. Start Small Start on fiverr or otherwise look for cheap, simple jobs. The work might be beneath you, and you might be underpaid, but you’ll learn skills which are invaluable as you move up the…
Private Label Products: Where To Start (Niche/Product Selection) The other day I posted about private label manufacturing having very little competition in most areas. Taking the example I found, (which led to that thread,) I decided to do some research and look into the margins and realities of creating the product. Now, bear in mind…
Let’s talk about paying for your own apprenticeship in whatever subject you want to learn using niche sites. To be honest, I’m thinking of making niche sites a less regular topic on the site from now on. The reason for that is that the well is running a little dry. Here is my current approach…
