Profit Is Downstream of Productivity Is Downstream of Organisation
I wrote an article for today, and I can’t find it.
Thus, I leave you with the platitude as a headline.
Just to make this article even remotely worth the click it takes to read it, let’s run back the numbers from the article the other day. This one.
Let’s assume you have the ability to make $1 per blog post as outlined in the post I just linked to.
One thing I learned from working with a publishing mentor is that once you’ve made the $1, it’s very easy to turn that into multiples with a basic understanding of intellectual property licensing. That $1 easily becomes $10. Then you figure, “Well, instead of blowing that $10 on a Big Mac and Fries I’ll invest it in a savings account” and then that $10 accumulates and doubles every five years while you add $10 a year as well…
And obviously, we’re not really talking about turning a single dollar into ten into one hundred because hopefully, we’re all making a lot more than $1 for our initial asset.
But you see how it snowballs very quickly?
Maybe not, and you would be if I got around to doing the job I promised and telling you all what to do and how to do it, and that brings me to my point…
Unfinished Work Is Worth Zero.
Moreover, you can only brute force your way through with work ethic for so long before it all catches up with you.
Ergo… time to get smarter.
I’ll see you in the next one. (Which will, hopefully, be a real one.)
