So I’m Cheating On This Post… With all the planning and everything I’ve been doing, this should be the last cheat post in a while. But between tech stuff, business stuff, batch cooking and other shenanigans, I just have not had time to write a post today. Normal business will resume tomorrow and I’ll magically…
… Makes Jamie A Pretty Dull Blogger I have 25 days or so until the end of the tax year. It’d be really helpful if I could get some of these projects up and running, because then I’ll – among other things – go from a state of having little to talk about on the…
Another Recommendation I’ve made a habit of lazy weekend posts. This is in that tradition, I suppose. However, it’s also a pretty useful one. So, recently I’ve written about stuff I use. Firstly there was the Kindle Scribe, which might be the best investment ever for writers. Secondly, there was my OneNote post; again, not…
Computer doing something screwy. Probably Windows updates. Miserable. Typing this on the phone but I lock my phone after 30 minutes screen time today. Back on it tomorrow, plenty of stuff written up on the Scribe waiting to be transcribed. Sometimes you have to cheat-meal to end the monotony of brocolli, chicken and rice. Sometimes…
Quick One Today Yesterday, I wrote about toying with the 20 Books to $50k Challenge, and said I’d take a couple of days to think about it and write some stuff down. Unfortunately, I have the most splitting headache I’ve had in years, which started last night. So a bigger update will have to wait…
Didn’t get to the computer until 20:30 today. Now it’s 21:00 and I’m sitting in front of the computer screen, not sure what to write, not really getting anything in particular that comes to mind that it won’t take me a thousand words to write about. I actually wrote a month in review over the…
In Less Than 100 Days Because it’s the start of the weekend, just a quick resource post for you all. Today I’ve been going through this course: 100 Days of Python. It’s a set of free tutorials that you can go through pretty quickly. (It recommends each lesson is 25 minutes or so and you…
Writing fiction, doing research for all kinds of things. Short post today because I’m in the zone, but once upon a time, if you were a writer, you’d have to actually go to places to experience them. While that’s a great idea for life purposes and potential tax write-offs, it’s easy to get complacent with…
Or, Your “Big Claim Probably Isn’t That Big” Every so often I come across a massive claim and I file it under the “Mystic From The Orient” principle I came up with back when I was first learning copywriting. You can read it in full in that article from 2016, (how time flies,) but the…
Or, “I Don’t Want To Be A Boomer” A while back, I realised that I was getting left behind, technologically-speaking. While my age has been a subject of great debate over the years, (people say I sound 45 and look 25, and I kind-of enjoy playing into it,) I’m too young to feel that old-man…
